What Is Universal Hardness Tester:
Universal hardness tester is hardness testing machine(Fully automatic or Semi-automatic) . It is possible to check hardness of material on different hardness scales like Brinell,Rockwell, Vickers with one machine. Below are some details of machine:- Universal hardness tester Basic equipment or Main unit include base body, load cell, indenter ,adaptor ,camera, lighting unit, computer, installation tools, manual etc.
- Load Range of universal tester is 1- 250 Kgf ( some manufactures also provide 1-180 Kgf). All testing over this load range are possible .
- Indenter/Penetrator holders/turret is either automatic (Fully Automatic machine) / Manually operated (Semi-automatic). Note: Indenter/Penetrator needs to be purchased separately. They are not included in basic cost of machine.
- Different objectivises from 5X - 140X.(Some objective needs to be purchased separately)
- Universal hardness tester are either computer operated or touch screen panel operated.
